Attending the Academy of Art University online.
I'm reattending and changing my major to Illustration. Do I want to do something in this field as a career? No idea, what I know is, I want to learn and develop skill in my main hobby. People tell me, "oh but you should be in the medical field, in the business field, focus on what you can make a "real" job in"-- oh hells no. The thing is guys, life is short. For all we know, honestly, I could not be here tomorrow! I want to live life my way and smile about it. Sure, I still have a job in the sales field, but it's not a job I want to always have forever. Do I want to be a sort of artist? Yes, I'd prefer that. Is that a realistic goal? It can be if I make it one of my primary goals! Right?
Anyway, thinking about all of this made me rethink my major in school. I was attending the AAU for graphic design courses previously just because my company paid for that field. I had no passion for it. It was not a smart decision for myself.
I like drawing, not really typography and designs for products/film. Just not quite my cup of coffee ^U~
But- what I've learned is drawing is art made for display - but not quite telling a story.
Illustration is meant to tell a story. I want to learn to do this; I want to show more emotions, understand anatomy, understand how to draw body mass, create interesting characters (not just human ones), display different moods using lighting and so much more so I decided illustration is the best course for me. For now, I'm attending this university online as I don't live any where close to California (lol) but I learn a lot .__. I learned so much in my graphic design courses before, oh my gosh, it was even overwhelming at some points!
Yep! Well, now I'm back into that school ready to learn. My first two courses are History of Gaming and Anatomy 2. We'll see what I learn!

I'm going into the sciences because I'm too nervous as a person to make a living in the arts (I just paint now, and I really haven't uploaded anything in forever... xD;;; ). I'll still be happy, I'm sure, because I'm a bit of a bio geek, but I'll always have art as a "passionate hobby" I'll call it. :3
