January: I had no idea if I liked to paint or just in a cell shaded way or not at this point.
February: I learned to experiment with color and overlays much more to my liking on commissions.
March: I was mixing painting and cell shading together and I used overlay (white) a lot for highlights to make things shiny.
April: I did the same thing here, but I decided to color hair a bit differently.
May: I wanted to repaint an old drawing: It felt nice to do that.
June: I ACTUALLY HAD A FREAKING BREAK. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? So I spent 4-5 hours straight on that Reka drawing during a livestream. Ever since then, I've never worked on a piece for so long (time wise).
July: I started to play with painting in a way that made things "pop" however, it took too long for commissions (when I was experimenting) and I did not enjoy spending forever on a piece that didn't cost much for someone to buy >_<
August: Just played with cell shading (more flat though).
September: This is when I started to do "screen shot" commissions. I got to experiment with adding a dash of color and some softer areas to my own OC's screen shot.
October: Didn't do much here but kept experimenting with color.. COLOR.. COLORSSOGIJWOE
November: Continued doing a lot of commissions but I became more comfortable with adding a bit more "me" to the screen shot commissions (playing with colors and making them softer is what I like to do).
December: I found out this is the quickest way for me to color a commission after lining - it only takes about 1.5 hrs to color a half body piece like this and I really like it. So now, I'm finally comfortable with commissions.
At the beginning of the year, I hardly got commissioners. Now I'm happy where I sit with art as I am finally gathering a decent amount of commissions when I open and I don't have to sit in the dark corner thinking my art is shit LOL. I'm happy where I'm at improvement wise and with your guys' encouragement I know next year I will improve even further. Maybe I'll even go back to painting.. because that's so much fun *A*
Blank (i adjusted the color a bit ><)
EDIT: OH YEAH, and now I'm trying to draw more half bodies and full bodies
*u* It helps inspire me to keep trying!~

It was a pleasure ♥
